Critique for Monologuing and Uncomfortable videos
Ok so I definitely know that making videos is not my strong point, well first because the critiques didn't really go well. I kept getting told about sound quality in my monologues but I can understand that and I wish that my camera had a better speaker on it. Also in my monologue video I do know that if I could change things I would, like the background, I would definitely chose another place for it besides my bedroom, that was not a good choice, also I would've chosen probably messier food so that I could get it everywhere and just spit things out at the camera and slurp things better. My uncomfortable video didn't go so well either, and well in my opinion my video to me was uncomfortable because I was aiming for me as the audience but I do know that I could've and should've changed things in this video too. Kathy suggested that I should've let the ants crawl all over the camera and me it as though they were crawling on the viewer and I agree that would've been a better choice to do. From the beginning I should've just shot the ants instead of making the video seem like it was a poorly made documentary. With that being said, I definitely know that I should've done things differently and now I wish that I had of and also I should've spent more time trying to come up with various solutions to what is considered uncomfortable and also what would've been good to rant about.

Different items, different marks
Dang blogger for not rotating these the proper way! Ok so I have sewn on paper before and lemme tell you I still dont really like it, heck I dont really like gluing string down because it doesnt want to stay down on the paper! It wants to stay attached to my finger!!!! But overall I did have fun playing with ink because well I like playing with ink, the sad thing is I need more ink.... but this means I get to get another trip to hobby lobby or michaels soooooooo Im happy lol
string mostly glued
anything composition, I used pine needles and a tree branch
the repetitive composition, its this thing I found outside I couldnt tell you what it is. Oh and turn your head 90 degrees to the left.
turn your head 90 degrees to the left and view what my hair brush did
this should be totally flipped over but in a way I kind of like it this way. Oh and this is my shoe.
Uncomfortable Videos
Ok so the one thing that really makes me uncomfortable is ants especially when their stirred up, just the way they look when they are all stirred up it gives me the heebee jeebees and make my skin crawl and yeah I try to head in the opposite direction if I ever see a stirred up ant pile... So actually doing these videos and getting close ups of the ants stirred up was difficult for me.
This is my 2nd attempt at uncomfortable video making.
This is my final uncomfortable video

Story revised
Ok so my last story I scrapped because well I didn't like it something in my head kept telling me to scrap it and start over and usually when that thought stays in my head it's usually right so I wrote another story and I actually like this one a whole lot. Also my compositions for it are turning out nicer too.
Have you ever looked back on your life and saw the visible line that divides some situations in half? On one side is the safety zone and the other is the unknown. Even today looking at some situations you can see this dividing line and you wonder if you should stay in the comfort zone or branch out and cross that line hoping that the grass is indeed greener on the other side. One must always be careful because every action has a consequence and they can turn out to be bad or good. Sometimes the dividing line is small like a fence and you can see whats on the other side, usually these small things don't seem so bad or aren't and so you venture forth over it and enjoy the small taste of excitement that comes with it. Then the bigger situations are like this huge wall that obscures your vision so its hard to tell whats on the other side. You may not think it's a bad thing to venture over this wall but the consequences of these actions tend to reveal themselves later on in life. If you do indeed venture beyond this wall do you feel guilty? Disgusted? Ashamed? Happy? Exhilarated and adrenaline pumping? Do you then venture back over the wall to the safety of the comfort zone or choose to stay out there in the unknown? What exactly makes the unknown thats across the wall bad or good? Who says it's good or bad? Do your parents influence these thoughts of whats on the other side? Or does your religion influence you? How about the media? Do you let it tell you whats wrong or right? These inner struggles can occur because some of the things that happening on the other side of the line go against what you've been taught, or it could be because you think people have this image of how you should act and you feel obligated to keep it just so they'll be happy with you. Sometimes it feels as though the dividing line between whats good or bad, wrong or right takes over and focuses on every thing inside your head than on the actual situation at hand. But no matter what life throws at you there will always be a line in your path and it will tempt you to cross it, whether it be a fence you can see over or the huge wall blocking your view. The real question is this, 'if you cross that line will you be prepared to see what happens next?'

Imagining lists pt 2, story
(Two little beings are sitting and having an argument)
A – “I’m telling you that choice right there is obviously the better of the two.”
D – “And I’m telling you that the other choice is better, so much better!!!!”
A – “And why pray tell is the other choice better?”
D – “Well it’s obvious isn’t it? Just look at all the stuff that comes with it, I mean, come on! Everyone knows that the more you have the better it is!”
A – “Tsk tsk tsk, just because it’s got more stuff on it doesn’t mean that it’s better. Sometimes simple is indeed the better way to go.”
D – “Simple? Really? Who wants to be simple anyways? More stuff may mean more complex but it really does mean that it’s better!”
A – “I have a suggestion, how about we let her decide what to do?”
D – “ Why should we let her decide? I know what’s better for her more than you do!”
A – “ And what makes you so sure? I’m not the one telling her more is better and why must you always say that your better?!”
D – “Because it’s true, now why don’t you just go shove that harp…..
L – “Oh my gosh would you two seriously be QUIET?!!! The fact that you two are arguing and that I’m actually listening to this conversation is making me feel like I’m close to insanity!”
A – “…..”
D – “…..”
L – “Besides I’ve already chosen which one I’m going to go with.”
A & D – “WHICH ONE?”
L – “I’m going with both slices of cheesecake because you simply can’t go wrong with cheesecake!”
Lists:
- well the whole thing is sound because its a conversation between 3 people.
- "Tsk, tsk, tsk" - considered as texture
- "just because it's got more stuff on it doesn't mean that it's better" - considered as point
- "Because it’s true, now why don’t you just go shove that harp..." - in my opinion I think it may try to be direction, motion and could end in pain if the sentence were continued.
- “I’m going with both slices of cheesecake because you simply can’t go wrong with cheesecake!” - in my opinion this is direction because she chose which way she was going to go
- “Well it’s obvious isn’t it? Just look at all the stuff that comes with it, I mean, come on! Everyone knows that the more you have the better it is!” - has Sight
- the whole thing may have a sense of time because you really dont know how much time has passed or how long the two have been arguing.
